    KRATZ, Alfreda K, age 64 years of 2101 Kentucky Street, passed away in a local hospital, Sunday, September 11, (1955) following a short illness. Mrs. Kratz had been a lifetime resident of this community, and was a member of the First Christian Church; the Pythian Sisters; the Old Settlers' Association, and Daughters of Pioneers. She is survived by one son, George Whitfield Smith, city; five grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Jenny Jones, Blaine; Mrs. Rose Kratz, city, and Lillian Ellers in California. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, September 15, at 1 p.m. within the Cathedral Chapel of the Westford Funeral Home with the Rev. C. Eugene Sabin, pastor, officiating. Interment Greenacres.
