A pioneer logger in Central wisconsin, died at noon at the Marshfield Convalescent Center. He came to Marshfield Wisconsin in 1882 with his parents. When he was eight yearsold, hid father died and he then made his home with an uncle and aunt Mr and Mrs Isaac Williams at Nasonville. He was engaged in logging and real estate in Wisconsin all of his like with the exception of the years 1927 to 1932 when he lived in California. His marriage to Orella Crotteau took place in 1894 at Rudolph Wisconsin. She died in 1929 and was buried in California On Aug. 20 1938 he married Mrs Ida La Pointe at Colby. She died March 30 1965.

He was a member of St John's Catholic Church. At the time of his death he had 18 grandchildren and 60 great grandchildern.
