  The funeral of Alfred C. Danser, late of Chicago, but a native of this county, having been born in Windsor, November 26, 1846, was held yesterday afternoon from the residence of John H. Bahrenburg, Greenwood avenue. The services were conducted by Rev. Howard Thompson, of Freehold, and the bearers were: Alfred A. Danser of Yardley; Frank C. Danser, of Highstown; James F. Danser, of Freehold; Howard F. Danser of this city; Clarence and Addison A. Vescelius. They are all relatives of the deceased. Mr. Danser was unmarried and the funeral was private, except to the immediate friends and relatives. Ivins & Taylor had charge, with interment at Greenwood Cemetery. Mr. Danser was a son of the late Westley Danser, who was at one time a member of the Assembly. Mr. Danser moved West when a young man and engaged in business in Chicago, where he became a member of the publishing firm of R. L. Polk & Company, one of the largest directory publishing establishments in the world. He was vice-presidnet of the company and well known in business circles. He died of apoplexy.
