Alexis L. ``Lexi Wells age 5, of New Hope, went to be with God Sept. 4, 2002. Although born with a serious heart condition, she lived a full and happy life. She brightened and impacted the lives of those around her. As written by Sue Webber of the Sun Post paper, she was an ``enchanting 5 year old bundle of energy with big eyes, short blonde hair, impeccable manners and winsome smile. Lexi loved visiting and playing with her friends and family. She enjoyed all different TV and Disney characters, reading books, doing puzzles, riding her bike, swimming, gymnastics, and playing in the park. This summer the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Minnesota granted Lexi and her family her wish to go to Disneyworld. The family wishes to thank Fairview-University Hospital, St. Paul Children's Hospital and Payne Avenue Medical physicians and staff for the many miracles they performed and the loving care they gave Lexi. Lexi is survived by parents, Dean Wells and Nancy Creps; brother, Nick; sister, Danielle; grandparents, Dorothy and Jim Wells, Donna Creps, Dr. James Creps; aunts and uncles, Christine and Harold Allain, Dave Geary and Deanne Roquet, Todd and Joy Wells, Joan Kreger, Jamie and Sandy Creps, Clay and Maggie Creps, Chad and Becky Burtless-Creps; cousins, Amanda, Zachary and Kylee Wells, Austin and Justin Kreger, Jesse and Erin Geary. Funeral Monday, 11 AM at Park Avenue United Methodist Church, 3400 Park Avenue, Mpls. Visitation Sunday 4 to 7 PM at Gearty-Delmore of Plymouth, 37th Ave. N. and Vicksburg Lane.
