Obituary

ALEXANDER HOSLER SR. died at his home on Gaston street early Wednesday morning, June 14, 1893, aged 65 years. He had long been a resident of this village, for many years employed in the sash and blind factory, an active, useful man until failing health compelled him to rest from his labors. An honorable, upright citizen and a kind father has been called home. His wife died ten years ago this month. Since then he has found a pleasant home with his children of whom four survive, Henry, Alex. Jr., and George E., of this place, and a daughter, Mrs. Bert Allen, of Savannah. Funeral services will be held at the house tomorrow (Friday) at 2 p.m., Rev. Dr. Beauchamp officiating.
