    QUAY 3 "The Death of Alexander McIsaac, an old and respected pioneer, occurred at the home of his daughter, , Mrs. Robert Lamb, on July 20 after a lingering illness. The late Mr. McIsaac was born in Scotlan d 87 years ago and came to Canada in 1849, settling in Mara, where he spent the balance of his life. His wife, whose death occurred three years ago, was Miss Mary Mahoney, of Atherly. They raise d a family of 11 children, eight of whom are still living, six sons... and two daughters... The funeral ...took place on July 23 from St. Columbkill Church, Uptergrove....'
