In 1861 their was an Alexander KENNEDY in Alnwick twp, town of Cobourg age 30, merchant (& mfg?), b-Scotland, attending Free Church, business: boot & shoe shop?...living alone/unmarried apparently.

It is possible that Alexander married a woman named Mary Ann & had a child as the following burial is listed in Bethesda Cem tombstone transcriptions: KENNEDY, James age 10 mos, d 8 Feb 1864, son of Alex & Mary Ann (lot #65...beside lot #66 where related KENNEDY are buried).

Elaine HESKETT has Alexander's birthdate as 13 Aug 1830.
