John Cuthbertson, Covenanter from Ireland, recorded in his diary that he “married Alexander Ewing and Frances Ewing on 7 January 1768 at Henry Ewing, Esq." (It is under “Middle Octoraro Society” listing in the Diary.).1,2 •Death*: Alexander Ewing died before 3 September 1829 at Mt Pleasant Township, Adams (then York) Co, Pennsylvania.5
