Peoria Journal Star, The (IL) - October 20, 2004 CANTON - Alexander G. "Duke" Cardosi, 83, of 1104 W. Hickory in Canton, died 10:05 a.m. Monday, Oct. 18, 2004, at Clayberg Nursing Home in Cuba.

Born May 28, 1921, in Canton to Donald and Hattie Hamann Cardosi, he married Lulu K. Jackson on Oct. 17, 1948, in Canton. She died Feb. 18, 2004.

He also was preceded in death by four brothers. He was a Navy veteran and member of the American Legion Post 16 in Canton. He worked for International Harvester Co. in Canton, retiring after 33 years.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Murphy-Sedgwick Memorial Home in Canton, where visitation will be one hour before. Cremation will be accorded. The Rev. Rick Atchley will officiate. Burial will be in White Chapel Memory Gardens in Canton.
