81.ALEXANDER CULBERTSON BLACK was born in Champaign County, Ohio, Dec. 8, 1841. He went to Wapello County, Iowa when a young man where he married Mary E. Courts, Sept. 4, 1879. They lived on their farm near Eddyville, Iowa. Later they moved to Eddyville where he conducted a store. He spent his later years near Indianapolis, Indiana, where he died June 9, 1926. He is buried in Springvale Cemetery, Lafayette, Indiana. Mary Courts Black died Sept. 27, 1937. 227LaRue E.born Sept. 18, 1882 228Leona C,born Dec. 3, 1885
