    Aldean Loughner Griffiths, of Dallas, Texas, passed away Saturday, Oct. 1, 2005, after a long battle with cancer. She was born Dec. 31, 1915, in Claridge. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Leonard Griffiths, a retired Dallas banker; her parents, Alpheus Myers and Jetty Lydick Loughner; and a sister, Virginia D. Loughner. Aldean is survived by her sister, Betty Loughner Long, of Greensburg; and her brothers, Delmus B. Loughner, also of Greensburg, and Alpheus M. Loughner Jr., of Graford, Texas. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Aldean graduated from the Westmoreland Hospital School of Nursing in 1940 as a registered nurse. She also graduated from Draughans Business College in Dallas. She was employed for 24 years by a prominent surgeon in Dallas, prior to her retirement.
