Chapter 2 says he has an Uncle Louis and his uncle's wife is Sophie. It is not clear if this is his uncle or GREAT uncle. Since Albert Schweitzer's father was Louis, if this man was Albert Schweitzer's uncle, then he must be Albert Schillinger, right? If this man was his GREAT uncle he could be Schweitzer or Schillinger. Uncle lived in Mulhouse circa 1885. Why wasn't the author clearer? Why didn't the author at least state Uncle Louis' last name?=============Chapter 3: Albert Schweitzer visits Uncle Auguste and Uncle Charles. Uncle Charles seems to be his father's brother. Is Uncle Auguste his father's brother or his mother's brother?=========Albert Schweitzer had an Aunt Matilde. Father's sister or mother's sister?
