Family called him Mark. Died at Clarinda,IA (hospital) and buried at Indianola, IA. I have some concern that my mother seemed certain that her grandfather was Martin Ruggles, who dies about age 53, and her grandmother Elizabeth Lee, died at age 29. This does not smoothly fit the data I show here and needs better documentation. She said that they had a son named Ernest (whose wife was Effie and they lived in Indianola, IA) and three daughters; Rosa, Ethel and Eleanor. Although not the same Albert Ruggles here, the 1930 census Des Moines St. Pct. 8, Lee Twp. Des Moines, IA Hs 583 fam. 591 shows an age 29 Albert Ruggles, assemblyman b. IA, parents b. IA. with wife Lena, 30 b. IA, fa. b. IA Mo. b. IN and 4 children ( Mildred 10, Betty 8, Richard, 5, and Norma, 3) all born in IA. Too many coincidences to avoid notion of relation.
