    FATAL ACCIDENT

    LINESMAN ELECTROCUTED

    A fatal accident occurred yesterday morning about ten o'clock on the Tinakori Hills, in the vicinity of the Wireless Station. A linesman named Albert Olsen, in the employ of thy Post and Telegraph Department, was engaged in laying a telephone wire on the hill in connection with the station, when through some mishap, at present unexplained, he came in contact with a high-tension circuit, and was killed instantly. The deceased, it is understood, was a single man, a returned soldier, residing at 9, Epuni street, Wellington, and had been for some time in the service of the Post and Telegraph Department. An inquest will be held.
