JEANNETTE MAN FATALLY HURT
Bert James Loughner, 60 years old, of 922 Ellsworth avenue, Jeannette, was accidentally killed at the American Window Glass company at 9:10 o’clock last night. Loughner was shifting box cars onto a siding when one apparently got away from his control. He was either jolted or jumped from the car, striking his head. He died as the result of a fractured skull.
Mr. Loughner was born at Radebaugh, the son of the late Harvey J. aud Sarah E. Peters Loughner and had lived in the Jeannette district his entire life. He had been an employee of the glass company for the past 36 years.
He was a member of the Jeannnette B.P.O.E. and the F.O.E. Mr. Loughner was a menber of the Grace Reformed Church of Jeannette.
Surviving are his widow and three children: Paul and William Loughner and Mrs. Alton Leonard, all of Jeannette. Four grandchildren and the following brothers and sisters also survive: Thomas, Harvey, John and Edward Loughner, all of Jeannette; Adam Loughner, of McKeesport; Mrs. John Simmers, Mrs. Albert Fellows, Mrs. George Richards and Miss Sarah Loughner, all of Jeannette. Funeral arrangements will be anuounced later.
