Obituary

Albert Edwards buried at Douglas DOUGLAS-(N-P)-- Funeral servces were held at Sterling Tuesday morning for Albert Edwards, 75, who died Saturday morning in a Norfolk hospital. Rev Charles Curt, pastor of the Douglas Methodist church, officiated and burial was at Rose Hill cemetary south of Douglas. Pallbearers were Harry Zech, Neil Loper, Lloyd Brugman, R. A. Allen, Emmer Porzin and Herman Hofker. Mr. Edwards is survived by four sisters, Mrs. Lucy Davis, Adams, Neb., Mrs. Fanney Chaney, Stuart, Mrs. Lizzie Smith, Endicott, Mrs. Ben McCurry, Pawnee City, and two brothers, Bruce Edwards, San Francisco, Calif., and Tom Edwards, Douglas. Preceding him death were his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ira Edwards, wife and three children. Among the out-of-town persons attending the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Ed Smith, Endicott, Mr. and Mrs. Tom McCurry, Pawnee City, and Mr. and Mrs. Ira Smith, Fairbury.
