    Albert D. Chamberlin, 92, former curator of the Greene County Museum and a Xenia resident 41 years, died at his residence, 1424 Hatcher Crescent, in Ann Arbor, Mich., Wednesday at 10:30 p.m.

    Mr. and Mrs. Chamberlin had moved four years ago to Ann Arbor where their daughter, Mrs. Janet Chamberlin Smith, resides with her husband, Dr. William Stanley Smith, an orthopedic surgeon and professor of orthopedic surgery at the University of Michigan.

    Born in Detroit, Mich., Jan 9, 1876, the son of Erastus and Sophia Day Chamberlin, he was a member of Westminister Presbyterian Church in Xenia. He married Martha Tinkey Sept. 15, 1917, and she survives.

    For 25 years, Mr. Chamberlin was a drygoods salesman for Marshall Field in Chicago, moving to Xenia in 1927 where he was associated with Jobe Bros. Department Store. He later was in charge of the museum when it was a Second and Monroe Sts. and moved with it to the Glossinger Cultural Center.

    Other survivors include a son, Ned Chamberlin of New Carlisle; a sister, Mrs. Alice Lyon of Highland Park, Mich.; four grandsons and one great-granddaughter.

    Services will be conducted at Neeld Funeral Home, 106 W. Market St., Saturday at 9:30 a.m. by the Rev. Gordon Kester with burial in Woodland Cemetery.

    There will be no visitation.
