Research notes

1804 - named in the will of her grandmother Sarah Robe, dated 22 Jan 1804: "... Fourthly, I bequeath to my grand-daughter Nancy Stewart twenty dollars in money together with one feather bed and furniture, one cow, three sheep and all my clothing."

listed with John Stewart's heirs in the Monongalia County, Va. court records.

1808 - Nancy was given land by her grandfather William Stewart

1814 - She sold land in 1814.

1839 - Nancy died after Thomas Cordray, as she purchased some things from the sale bill, Nov. 1839.

Burial - Death date on headstone is unreadable. This stone was partially buried under a tree root.

She left no known will or listed heirs.

I have not found her in the 1850 Census for Monongalia County.

She is not listed among the children of John Stewart and Mary Robe as compiled by Gordon C. Baker.
