Some sources claim that this Agnes Ritchie married William Crockett (1709-1770), but this Agnes Ritchie was far too young to have been married to that William Crockett, because David Crockett, William Crockett's son was born abt. 1727, just one year after the approx. date of this Agnes Ritchie.

Agnes was most probably married to another William Crockett, born 1722, died abt. 1767., where both William and Agnes were killed by Indians, according to several account.
