Agnes Jessie LENEVE, christened 20may1836 in Barony parish, who lived later at 9 Maxwell Terrace, Pollokshields (family letters). She may have been born in England (census). Agnes Jessie LeNeve (b. 1837) died 1908 in Scotland; the mother’s maiden name was not given as Bell (scotlandspeople). She was present at the funeral of Elizabeth BELL nee BARTON in 1884 (newspaper article). In 1851 Agnes Milne (b. 1809 Glasgow), head, annuitant, lived with daughters Agnes LeNeve (b. 1837 London, England), Jessie (b.1842 Glasgow) and Margaret Milne (b.1843 Glasgow) at Ardbeg Point, Rothesay (census). Agnes LeNeve (b. 1837, England (!)) is registered living at Craigbank, Upper Craigmore, Rothesay, on the 1891 census but not on the 1901 census. In 1896 Miss LeNeve lived at High Craigmore Rd., Rothesay (Slater’s Directory of Scotland). David Bell (1792-1863) drew up his will 11jan1860 at Glasgow adding Codicils on 1mar1861 and 11apr1862. Beneficiaries were, among others: Mrs. Agnes Bell or Milne, his sister, Agnes Le Neve her eldest daughter, Jessie and Margaret Milne her youngest daughters.
