Adolph "Ralph" Mozzoni, 82, of Saltsburg, died Saturday, Feb. 11, 2006, in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg. He was born in Salemville, Aug. 2, 1923, the son of the late Antonio and Mary Tesauro Mazzoni.
He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the Army Air Corps.
He retired after 50 years from Local #1451 Laborers Union. Ralph was a lifetime member of the Salem Gun Club, C.C. Camp Discharge, New Alexandria Fireman's Club, and the Slickville American Legion.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Hampshire Mozzoni, Saltsburg; a daughter, Rose Kern and husband Walter; two grandchildren;
Also stepchildren Melissa McCallim, Eric and Mark Eckels; 15 stepgrandchildren; two stepgreat-grandchildren; and siblings Michael, Marie, Joseph and Anthony.
Along with his parents, Ralph was preceded in death by his first wife, Lulu Loughner Mozzoni; and brothers and sisters, Angeline, Frank, Charles, Katherine, Nancy, James, Rose and John.
Services were held Tuesday in the P. David Newhouse Funeral Home, New Alexandria, with the Rev. Terry J. Carnahan officiating. Interment followed in Union Cemetery, New Alexandria.
