Facts and Events
His son's birth certificate (i.e. Adolph Ferdinand) indicated that he was a brick maker. He was living at 2335 Lubeck, Chicago when he died, 1880 census indicated he worked in a brick yard and was born in Prupia?(Prussia?) 1890/1892 Chicago Registered Voter Lists I found the name and other information for Adolph Latall (I believe father of Adolph F. Latall-Nancy & Marilyn’s grandfather and their great grandfather). He was the only Adolph listed although there was a Charles Latall listed in the 1892 list. These lists are actually substitutes for the 1890 Federal Census Papers for the Chicago census (or for that matter the entire nation) which were destroyed in a fire in Washington DC in the early part of the 1900’s. The following information is from the 1892 list: Adolph Latall Nativity (Birthplace): Germany Residence: 1123 N. Oakley Color: White Term of Residence Precinct: 7 months County: 20 yrs State: 20 yrs Naturalized: Yes Where: Superior Court of Cook County When: September 29, 1890
