The Europäische Stammtafeln (first published in the 20th century) shows her as the daughter of Prince Mieszko rather than his sister, without identifying a primary source for this assertion. Cawley^[1] provides 3 primary sources that indicate she was the sister of Prince Mieszko, and goes on to say that "If she was Mieszko's sister, it is likely that they did not share the same mother, assuming that the estimated birth dates of Mieszko and Adlajda are both accurate."
