Runyan, Adam - born 5/4/1755 in Maryland; moved when he was very young with parents to Rockbridge County, Virginia, where he resided when he entered service 1777 in Botetourt County, Virginia; moved to latter County after Revolutionary War for abt. 15 years, then to Caswell County, North Carolina, for abt. 5 years, thence to Sciotto County, Ohio where he applied for Pension in 1836 & Pension application was rejected.
