"Adam Loughner, son of Rudolph and Christina (Cawvel) Loughner, was born October 9, I799, in Heidleberg, Northampton county, Pennsylvania, married October 26, 1826, Catherine Hooker, of a Gettysburg family, and their children were: John, born July 12, 1827, married Elizabeth Smail, and has a large family. Solomon, mentioned hereinafter. Lavina, born in 1831, died in 1876. Maria, born October 30, 1832, is living in Penn township. Lebbeus, born October 23, 1834, died December 3, I896. Ellen, born November 28, 1838, married Frederick Prinsler. Israel, married Anna Burk, and now lives in Jeannette.
