Cawley gives his death date as "[1 Feb/30 Jun] 1037 or after". He goes on to cite a charter dated 12 Jun 1037 in which Adalbert and his wife Judith donated property. It appears that his death occurred in the spring (between Feb and Jun) in an unknown year, not earlier than 12 Jun 1037.
