Mahaska Daily Herald, June 1926 -Ada Faye Warrick Armstrong, daughter of Charles and Nora Warrick, was born July 20, 1892 at Tioga, iowa, and died in the same village Friday, June 25, 1926, aged 33 years, 11 months, and 5 days. Under the influence of Christian parents, she was converted early in life. She was united in marriage to Ottie Armstrong of Tioga, May 29, 1912. To this union were given six children, four sons, Maurice, Harold, Lloyd, and Robert L., and two daughters, Maurine and Bernice, all of whom with the parents, survive, with the exception of Robert, the babe who died with the mother; also, three bothers, Curtis, Everett and Earl, and four sisters, Nellie, Gladys, Ruth, and Lois. Mrs. Armstrong grew to womanhood in and near Tioga, where she resided all her life with the exception of a few years near Indianapolis, Iowa. As a daughter, wife, and mother and as a teacher in the public schools, Mrs. Armstrong was highly respected. Funeral services were conducted from the church in Tioga, Sunday, June 27 by Rev. A. W. Miller of Ottumwa. Attendance at these services was three or four times greater than the building could accommodate. The funeral for the husband, Ottie Armstrong, was conducted by the same minister a the same place at 4 o'clock the same day, after which the remains were laid to rest in the Tioga cemetery. The babe was buried with the mother.
