Ada is a tough one to track, but it's known she lived with her parents and siblings (probably Ballard) for most of her life. Her stone is in Jesse Spears Cemetery (formerly known as Price Cemetery) which was on the property of Ballard Smith. The gravestone names her Ada Lou Hensley, and her funeral memorial names her Ada Crum Hensley (Crum from first marriage and Hensley from second). Charlie Shelton had said her date of death was August 15, 1966, which matches an Ada Hensley who died in Huntington at that time and is found in the Social Security Death Index, but her stone and funeral memorial say her death was in 1971. Ada and George Crum had two children, a daughter and a son Jessie. I haven't found the name of her Hensley husband yet.
