There is some doubt that Abraham and Clara Vosburgh are the parents of Lena Vosburgh. It is stated that they were the sponsors of the first child of Jacob Van Deusen and Lena Vosburgh. Most Vosburghs were descended from Abraham Pieterse Vosburgh who came from Holland to New Netherlands about 1649 and was killed by Indians in 1659.
