Warren Co., IA Death Certificate of son, Benjamin Franklin Riley reports that his father was Abraham Riley born in Virginia. According to report from Jodi (Riley) Nielson she identified that Abraham had lived in Indiana 1800-1836, in Wisconsin 1836-1859, in MO 1858/9, and Iowa after 1860. 

Jodi (Riley) Nielson = [email protected], a grandchild of Harold Lewis Riley and Gladis Amelia Johnson who lived most of their lives in Polk County ( Des Moines/Bondurant). Harold was a son of William Joseph Riley and Estella Maude Hively and his grandparents wereJames W. Riley and Mary Lee (who later married Calvin Barrick after James W. Riley left Mary to marry her sister, Dora Lee).  Apparently William disowned his father for abandoning them.  Mary was later killed by a tornado near Algona, IA.
