    H 665 REV. ABRAHAM QUICK (G282), a Methodist Minister, who emigrated to Cadiz, Ky. He was b 3 May 1812 in Pennington, Somerset Co., N. J., and d Aug. 1894, aged 83; m 9 Jan. 1838, NANCY H. DOWELL, who d 7 Aug 1846. To this union were born 5 children; m 2nd, 29 July 1852, ELIZABETH JANE YOUNG. To this union were born 8 children. He became a Methodist Minister of the Louisville Conference, serving many years in that capacity. When he retired from the ministry he settled on a farm near Cadiz, Ky., where he lived until his death [I-701-10c].
