ABRAHAM CARR was born in 1848 in Tennessee. He later moved to Dade County, Missouri.

Abraham was a farmer.

Abraham Carr served in the Civil War in the Union Army. He enrolled as a private on September 21, 1863 in Company I, 7th Provisional Regiment Enrolled Missouri Militia in Melville, Missouri. He served for 60 days.

He enrolled on August 27, 1864 in 15th Missouri Volunteer Calvary in Springfield, Missouri. He was mustered out of service on June 1, 1865 in Springfield, Missouri.
