DEATH: G.J. Binns gives the date of death as 1814 on his genealogical chart . However, the Sunderland document quotes 19 June 1813.

RESIDENCES: 1743 - At birth - Woodside, Yorkshire, England. 1813 - At death - Liverpool, Lancashire, England.

OBITUARY: It affords us a melancholy pleasure to commemorate the virtues of our departed relatives and friends and it soothes our sorrows to reflect that they are at rest from their labours, enjoying that peace that the world can neither give nor take away. But the principal benefit to be expected from a revival of their memory, is, that they who are left behind may be encouraged to follow their example, so to walk as they walked,that, like them we may lay down our heads in peace, when the Angel shall proclaim to us, "There shall be time no longer."
