  3.   George Tolman makes one of his rare errors, which is probably the result of being too Concord-centric. Meanwhile, the error-ridden Wheeler may have gotten this right as long as you stick to this Abijah, and don't look at the wrong Abijah.

    Tolman shows this Abijah marrying Mary Heywood (p. 58) and having a daughter Nabby, b. 1775 in Concord (p. 66). Weston records, of which Tolman seems unaware, show this Abijah died before the date of marriage in 1773. Wheeler shows this Abijah marrying Sarah Allen correctly with his children [p. 706, #12219].

    Who married Mary Heywood is an open question needing more research. While the marriage in 1773 is to Mary Hayward, the birth of Nabby (and "Artimes") are to Abijah and Abigail. Are they the same woman, just a recording error? Tolman obviously thinks so, and even Wheeler says #2063 (who m. Mary Hayward) "may be No. 12,230" (father of Abigail and Artimes).
