    Vol. 96, p. 120 3 Dec 1784: Jonathan Messer of Lunenburg yeoman for £40 conveys to Joshua Longley of Lunenburg Gentleman part of the farm I now live on about 20 acres. I Abigail Messer wife of the said Jonathan Messer give up my right of dower.
    Vol. 98, p. 11 14 May 1785: Jonathan Messer of Lunenburg Husbandman for £200 conveys to Jonathan Messer Jun'r of Lunenburg Labourer part of my home place in Lunenburg where I now Dwell containing 70 acres.   3. On 1 Apr 1760, Obadiah Parker's real estate is given one third to his widow, and then split between two sons Oliver and Jacob, they paying the other children appropriately. Abigail does not herself sign the settlement in assent, but Jonathan Messer does as her husband. The judges decree of 8 Dec 1760 instructs Jacob to pay his sister Abigail Parker, using her maiden name. [Middlesex Probate 16761]
