Ancestry of Sarah Johnson, 1775-1824, Wife of Joseph Neal of Litchfield, Maine, p. 24, estimates the birth of both Nathaniel and Abigail as about 1704, but does not indicate they are twins, or explain Abigail's estimate, so since marriage or death or other item is shown upon which this estimate might be based. No reason is apparently why Abigail couldn't have been born as late as 1706, so it seems unjustified, without evidence, to say she was Nathaniel's twin.
