It is conceivable that another daughter named Amy could have been born between 1613 when Abigail was born and 1620 when the mother Frances died, and that Abigail could have died without heirs before 1642, leaving only Amy to be named in the will, but as no such evidence has been found, the article's speculation may be a good guess.
