"In regard to the genealogical aspects of these documents, they show conclusively that the first wife of Samuel Dibble was Abigail Graves, the daughter of William Graves of Stamford, Connecticut, and Newtown, Long Island. We also learn that her child, Abigail Dibble, was born on the morning of Saturday, 19 January 1666/7, in Stamford, Connecticut, and not in Windsor where her birth is recorded."
