[Note: this source gives the age at death as in the 89th year, while the published records say in the 87th year. Neither is a good match for the recorded birthdate and it is not known why this death date is given to this woman when there is a widow Abigail Child that matches this age better? Footnotes point out that p. 319 of Vital Records give death of "Mrs Joseph Child" but author thinks that is the husband. The author then proceeds to suggest the Abigail Child who married Nathaniel Blake in 1767 is the widow of the son of Joseph and Abigail Child, who died 1760 before he reached his 21st birthday (i.e., under age to marry so how could he have a widow)?]
