    The will of Rev. William Tyes, dated 1 April 1623, names "Jonathan Gillet the sonne of Will[ia]m Gillett Clarke p[ar]son of Chafecombe in the Countie of Soms[e]t" and "my daughter in lawe Abia her children". The latter is assumed to mean the Abiah (Habiathia) Pye who married William Gillett, presumably the step-daughter ("daughter-in-law") of Rev. Tyes.
