Aaron Raafe died at his home in Madison last Friday evening, December 3, at 7:30 o'clock. He had been seriously ill for abut three weeks. Mr. Raafe was 81 years old, having been born February 24, 1862. He was a familiar figure in Madison and years ago worked as a painter. He had been unable to work for many years. He is survived by his sister, Miss Datie Raafe, with whom he made his home.
Funeral services were held at the grave Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock, conducted by Rev. Roy C. Saferite. Interment was in No. 8 cemetery.
