I am researching the family tree of Aaron Lockert (Lockhart) born in 1735 and who supposedly emigrated from Scotland to Lancaster, PA with father as small child. Aaron married Sarah Miles and lived in Chester Co., SC where he had received land grants. He seemingly moved to SC with sisters Rebecca and Margaret who where both married to a Benjamin Williams. Margaret married Benjamin after the death of her sister Rebecca. Aaron may have also had brother John or Hugh in same area around Lockhart Shoals, SC where he ran a grist mill. Aaron was rev war solider and obtained the rank of Col before his death in 1798. Sarah and a number of their children moved to TN after Aaron's death.
