Aaron was a physician and is said to have had collegiate training [there is no corroborating record in Colonial Collegians]; he studied medicine with Dr. Isaac Hull [error for Hall] of Meriden, Conn., whose daughter he married. He was at Marlboro and in 1774 at Wethersfield. He was the first resident physician at Rocky Hill and is said to have practiced thirty years at Stepney, Conn.
In May, 1778 Aaron became Captain of the 4th Co., 6th Regt. on alarm list. June 21, 1779 he was placed on a committee to provide clothing and money for town soldiers."
