The wife of William Albin Jr. (sometimes referred to as William Bruce Albin) was Magdelina or Magdalina Godfrey. Many compilers have shown her maiden surname as SHEPLER because of Ethel Albin's conjecture based on a Shepler family being neighbors and involved in land transactions with the ALBINs. Family Bible evidence, however, indicates that her maiden surname was GODFREY.
