The beloved husband of
ANNIE TORKINGTON.
Who departed this life
February 22nd 1933,
Fortified with all the Rites of Holy Church.
Aged 52 Years.
And was interred at
Burnley Cemetery,
on February 25th.
Sleep on dear husband life's troubles are o'er,
Your willing hands shall toil no more;
For all of us you did your best,
May God grant you His eternal rest.
God has permitted it: all we can do is to pray.
