Be it Known to all men by these presents that I William Vinson Senr of the town of glocester in the County of Essex in New England for & in Consideration of the Sum of fifty & five poundes payd to me by Mr. John Emerson Pastor of the Church & Congregation of the Same Towne . . . .
I have Together with the Consent of my wife Rachel Vinson Bargained Sold . . . . unto the sd Mr. John Emerson
my gristmill together also with a Parcell of Land Containing three acres be it more or less being Scituate & Lying on the Northside of The millpond as also halfe an acre of Land be it more or Less Lying on the South Side of the sd mill pond the sd mill & Lands being near and adjoining to the House & Lands of the sd Mr. John Emerson in Glocester aforesd as also my right & Interest in the fresh meadows above the sd mill having the mill brook running through the sd meadows

Be Knowne unto all men by these presents that I Rachel Vinson of Gloster in ye County of Essex in New England formerly ye wife and Now ye Executrix unto ye Estate of my late Deced husband William Vinson of Gloster aforesd for and in consideration of Ten poundes to me in hand paid by John Hadley of ye Town and Countey aforesd Have Bargained and sold . . . .
Two acres of Salt Marsh lying at ye upper End of little good harbour Creek So commonly Caled which marsh was ye propriety and in ye possession of my late Deced husband William Vinson . . . .[Warrant etc.] . . . . which Two acres of Meadow lying & being Scituate on ye south Side of a Small gutter or Creeke & ye Comon on ye West Side or End which Meadow with all of ye fences privileges and appertenances thereto belonging to have & to Quietly and peaceably Enjoy . . . .

John Brown of Falmouth in the County of York, yeoman & Hannah Brown alias Elwell his wife

being heirs of Abigail Elwell alias Vinson and of William Vinson their grandfather
and Mary Elwell of Gloucester in the County of Essex widow Relict of Vinson Elwell of Glocester deceased and Guardian to the Children of Vinson Elwell heirs of the sd Abigail Elwell & William Vinson dec’d . . . .
covenant with each other that the following shall be a full and final division of the Real Estate of ye said Abigail Elwell dec’d & William Vinson dec’d . . . .
It is mutually agreed that Hannah the wife of John Brown shall have for her part of the Homestead or Land adjoining to ye cove called Vinson Cove or Ellery Cove one acre and half more or less adjoining on Capt. Nathaniel Ellery’s Land on the Westerly Side upon the Highway on the Northerly End where it is 8 rods and one quarter of a rod Wide easterly on the Part hereafter assigned to Vinson Elwell aforesaid his heirs and, southerly on the Cove where it is eighty rods and one quarter of a Rod wide,
as also one acre and an half of marsh at ye Head of Little good Harbour Marshes adjoining southerly on Capt. John Comeys Orchard four Rods and one quarter wide by the Marsh of John Hadleys taking in the gore that is between the North End of said John Hadleys Marsh, James Withams Swamp & before William Milberrys Land
as also said William Elwells Interest in five Pound Island so called,
and two acres & One quarter & half quarter of an acre in the upper End of the Herbage Lot beginning at an high Rock and running to an Hemlock Tree which is mentioned in the Record of said Lot two acres & one Quarter & one half Quarter of an acre to be fourteen rods wide
as also her said Hannah Brown Equal share in any Division or Divisions on rights not Received.
It is further mutually agreed that heirs of Vinson Elwell shall have for their Part One acre and half of ye Homestead butted southerly on the Cove where it is Eight Rods & one Quarter of a Rod wide & Westerly on the Division belong to Hannah Brown, Northerly on the Highway . . . ,
Also one acre and one half acre of Salt marsh in the Head of Little good Harbour Marshes adjoining on Capt. John Comyes Orchard where it is Seven Rods & one third of a Rod wide adjoining to the Cove and an half belonging to Hannah Brown running across the Marsh to James [Nathans] land where it is seven Rods and one-third of a Rod wide
And also a Right in the Five Pound Island
And one right or share in all other Parcels or Divisions of Lands already made or to be made in the Right of Abigail Elwell & or Wm Vinson deceased.
It is Further mutually agreed that the said William Elwell shall have in his own right & by Purchase the Remainder of ye Homestead and all the Remainder of Other Lands or Parcels of Land not herein mentioned
and said Hannah Brown Part of ye Lot in the great Pasture at Little Good Harbour [] and her said Brown’s Part of the Thatch Lot in Squam River and said Brown Right in ye Wood Lot at Starknaught Harbour
