- 1649 Sep 11-Salem-1, 173-Plaintiff, of Gloucester-v. Mr. Blinman, the pastor, for tearing a warrant he had taken out against William Vinson and throwing it in the fire. Blinman admonished for his “rash act”
- 1649 Sep 11-Salem-1, 174-Accusor of William Vinson of Gloucester-Vinson reproached his servant Susan Matchett, to whom Day was contracted, saying she was not virtuous, etc., confessed and was discharged
- 1652 Oct 5-Hampton-1, 269-(plaintiff?)-Constable of Exeter ordered to return to Anthony Day goods taken to satisfy the minister’s rate, and Day to pay it within two months at 2 shillings/day in labor
- 1653 Sep 27-Ipswich-1, 296-299-Witness-William Payne of Ipswich vs Edward Gillman sr. and jr. of Exeter for nonperformance of contract dated 18 Nov 1650; Gilman’s were to provide boards sawed by the old mill at Exeter; Nicholas Leson[/Leeson] & Anthony Day hired about 2 2/4 years ago by Payne to used a boat of Gillman and to pay their wages to cary boards down the rier, and Thomas Biggs also hired. Day, William Vinsone (mark), Osmone Duch (mark), Robbert Elwell (mark); Day witness to sloth and sass of maid
- 1663 Mar 31-Ipwsich-3, 43-44-Witness (age ca 37, ships carpenter, signed statement with mark “A”) -Mordecha Crafourd v. Thomas Jefourds , ship’s carpenter, for non-performance of an agreement in trimming and repairing a barque. Anthony Day and William Seargant say they heard Craford say (1th month 1662) that there was no bargain with Jefford concerning work on the boat. Benonye Bushopp and Day began work on Cravit’s boat at Glocester last winter; Anthonye Daye and Alexander Willey said Jefford demanded 30 lbs for work. Jeffery Parson and Anthony Day said they heard Jeffords, in his home, ask if Mordica was satisfied with work; Day further said that work that was deemed insufficient could have been done if the vessel had been brought ashore according to Jeford’s order, bit it lay in the harbor about 6 days after order was given

Anthony Day said he heard John Meagus threaten Osmond Dutch that if he came into the stage any more to fetch cods heads more than his own whare, he would make his heels fly higher than his head and throw him over the stage head
- 1664 Nov 29-Salem-3, 208-Witness (signed with mark)-Peeter Duncan v. Mordecaie Creford. Debt. Anthony Day witnessed a Bond signed by Creford for payment to be made in fish
- 1665 June 26-Salem-3, 326-Deputy constable of "Gloscester"-Jemes Steevens v. Edw. Harrendin. Writ served on Harrendin by Day
- 1666 Jun 26-Salem-3, 328-329-Witness to power of atty (signed with mark)-John Meager v. Samuell Dutch. Non-performance of an agreement. Samuell Duch of Glocester gave Letter of attorney to William Sargent of Gloucester, Peter Duncan and Anthony Daye witnesses
- 1665 June 26-Salem-3, 330-333-Wages /costs owed/paid-Mordecai Craford or Eadith his wife, as his attorney v. Capt. Tho. Savage. Upon all accounts between them, with the mortgage of the houses and lands of plaintiff, etc. Charges or costs incurred by Craford included 3li. 16s to Anthony Day for seeling the cabin of a Barke & small and great nailes
