This document (p. 44) is found a few pages past the recording of the will of Thomas Lewis of Exeter, pps. 38-40. This problem is as follows: 1. The name of the deceased is called Jonathan Lewis -- could be recording clerk error. 2. The account is submitted by son Thomas Lewis who refused to accept the Admin. of the will and his brother William Lewis was then named Admin. by Town Council. So why didn't William Lewis submit the accounting of is father's estate? 3. Did Jonathan Lewis, father of Thomas, die in 1787 also and not before 1751? There is no will for him in Exeter volumes, but a will is referred to. File historyLegend: (cur) = this is the current file, (del) = delete
