Image:New Baby - Bobbie Ann 1953.jpg

Watchers

At a reunion on Aug 8, 2018, the group thought that the woman holding the baby was Margie but thought the baby might be Bobbie Ann Meese who was born 15 Jan 1953. RC thinks that it is Faye holding Bobbie Ann, her daughter. The photo probably includes Bobbie Ann's half brother, Bill Meese, and her cousins Bill and Gennie Hibbs and Diana and Carolyn Crites; Faye Carlisle Meese, her mother; her grandmother Helen Reymond Carlisle; her great-grandfather William "Bill" Reymond; her great-grandparents Robert and Bertha (Stoecklin) Carlisle; and her aunt, Linda Carlisle (far left). The consensus of the group was that this photo was taken in Helen Reymond Carlisle's kitchen. According to Joe Carlisle, Faye's brother, Faye was pregnant and moved in with her parents when her first husband, John William "Bill" Meese, was sent overseas during WWII. He was killed in action 31 Jan 1945, having never seen their son, Bill. Faye later married Bill's brother, Robert "Bob" Meese, and Bobbie Ann was their daughter.
