The baby is Jonathan Wayne Medaugh, born 10 Feb 1955 in Lima, Ohio. He is the son of Rev. John G. Medaugh and Ruby Ashton Medaugh.

This photograph was published in the newspaper (probably the Spencerville Journal), with the following caption, "VENEDOCIA - Here are members of a five-generation group living in the Venedocia and Spencerville area. Mrs. Nettie Savidge, 80, of Route 2, Spencerville, is the great-great-grandmother. Her daughter is Mrs. Gladys Reynolds, 60, of Route 2, Spencerville; she has a daughter, Mrs. Violet Ashton, 39, of Venedocia; Mrs. Ruby Medaugh, daughter, 17, of Venedocia, and Mrs. Medaugh is the mother of the great-great-grandchild, Jonathan Medaugh, four months. Mrs. Reynolds is seated at the left holding Jonathan and Mrs. Savidge at the right. Mrs. Medaugh is standing at the left beside her mother, Mrs. Ashton."
